The Broadmoor Open has a rich history of showcasing top figure skating talent. It is hosted annually by the Broadmoor Skating Club at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs. The event has grown over the years to become one of the premier figure skating competitions in the United States, attracting skaters from across the country and internationally. The competition is known for its high standards and commitment to promoting the sport of figure skating. This event is open to all eligible skaters, including members of U.S. Figure Skating, Learn to Skate USA®, collegiate clubs, and non-U.S. citizens.
Registration Information: Online registrations will be accepted via EMS. Payment must be made at the time of registration by credit card only. Each transaction includes a 3% transaction fee.
Registration Deadline: May 8, 2025 11:59 pm ET
Late Registration Deadline: May 14, 2025 11:59 pm (EST) PLUS $50 Late Fee. Broadmoor Skating Club reserves the right to close registration at any time if the event and/or competitive level capacity is met.
Practice Ice: We will be limiting each practice session to no more than 14 skaters. Practice ice sessions will be available for skaters to prepare for their events. Skaters' music will not be played during practice ice sessions. Practice ice credits can be pre-purchased after event registration via the EMS Competition Portal. The pre-purchase period is open from March 15, 2025, to May 21, 2025, with costs of $20 for UPI and $15 for WU.
Photo/Video – What’s included: Competitors’ entry fee in singles, pairs, dance, adult, and showcase includes media credit for either package of at least 20 action shots OR video (without music) of ONE event. Skater will have an option to purchase both for additional $10. Skaters will need to indicate their choice If not purchasing the entire package. CompeteUSA skaters will receive a link to pre-order media services at a substantial discount prior to event. Onsite orders for media services will also be available.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of the Broadmoor Open. We welcome individuals who are passionate about figure skating and want to contribute to the event. Volunteer opportunities include assisting with registration, helping skaters and coaches, managing practice ice sessions, and supporting the awards ceremonies. Airport Information: Two airports are available for your travel convenience. The Colorado Springs
Airport is about 15 minutes by car from The World Arena. The Denver International Airport is about 1 ½ hours by car. If you are arriving between 4-6 PM, please allow at least 2 hours travel time to Colorado Springs from Denver airport.
