Members

The Broadmoor Skating Club has a history of excellence. The club has been a premier figure skating club for over 75 years producing champions and competitors at all levels.

Being a member of the Broadmoor Skating Club offers many benefits. Whether you are an athlete, a family member, a coach, or a person who just loves the sport, there is a membership type available to fit your needs. If you like to get involved there are also volunteer opportunities available within the club.

The membership year is July 1st through June 30th.

  • Membership with the U.S. Figure Skating Association
  • Access to the official U.S. Olympic training facility and its coaches
  • A subscription to SKATING magazine (one per household)
  • Participation in Club events and social functions

  • Eligibility for scholarships

Types of Membership

Senior membership fee: $115.00

Skaters who are at least 18 years of age as of July 1st of the membership year. This category is for any member who intends to compete or test.

Skating Family membership fee: $300.00

For up to 4 family members which includes parents, skaters and siblings. Must have at least one parent or guardian join if any member is under the age of 18. This category is designed for families with multiple skaters.

Additional family members over 4: $35 each.

Junior Membership fee: $175.00

One skater under the age of 18 and one parent or legal guardian.

Coach membership fee: $100.00

Shall be persons who are coaches or professionals in figure skating. Must also be a member in good standing of PSA and registered with USFSA for background check.
This category is not intended for those members who also compete. (See Senior membership).

Coach members, who also have family members who want to join, should utilize the family membership (for three or more) or the Junior membership, if the coach’s child/skater is under the age of 18.

Associate membership fee: $110.00

Associate members shall consist of persons who voluntarily support the sport of figure skating and officials and accountants. These are non-skaters.

Additional member (spouse /sibling/non-skating child) (up to 1): $35.

Non-home club membership fee: $115.00

This membership is for those whose primary affiliation is with another USFSA club. This category allows the member to test and participate in Fire and Ice at the BSC rate. Not eligible to vote. This category of membership is not eligible for gifting or critiques.

Additional members of the family may join: $35.00 per additional family member.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS RECEIVED AFTER JUNE 30th WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $10.00 LATE FEE AND MEMBERSHIP WILL NOT BE ENTERED WITH USFSA UNTIL AFTER THE LATE FEE IS PAID.

All members are required to sign the applicable Codes of Conduct. Digital copies are included in the Online Form Filler.

All members are strongly encouraged to view the skate safe handbook and take the free training that is available on the “Members Only” website of USFSA.

PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 48 HOURS AFTER YOUR PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO BE PROCESSED. Memberships are entered after payment verification is received.

Membership year begins July 1st.

     *  New member applications require the sponsorship of two BSC members.
     * New members are required to submit a letter of application explaining why you would like to join the BROADMOOR SKATING CLUB.
     *All members are required to read and sign the applicable Codes of Conduct. Digital copies are included in the Online Form Filler.
